Our 2012 Dairy Cattle Evaluation team traveled with parents, siblings, grandparents, coaches and advisor to Europe to compete at the Royal Highland Show in Scotland. They competed with teams from all over the United States. After judging at the show the two week trip included beautiful sights from Scotland, England, and Ireland. Specific sights included: a tour of Edinburgh Scotland, the Welsh countryside, Buckingham Palace in London, the London Eye, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Ireland, The Ring of Kerry in Ireland and Trinity College in Dublin. Additionally, our group visited a dozen local dairy farms along the way. Dairyman shared their knowledge of the industry, breeding regimes, feeding and pasture management.
